Prospective clients complete a Project Survey to brainstorm and communicate needs, wants and budget.
An initial meeting is scheduled, ideally in the project space, to ensure all parties understand scope and are a good fit.
A ‘Scope of Service’ outlining estimated design fees is agreed upon.

Designs are cultivated, honed, tallied and presented to the client at the Initial Design Review meeting.
Designs and selections are refined for best fit.
Client approval of selections activates procurement and scheduling of Contractors & Craftsman.

Founder & Principal Designer
Angelee Marques is the Founder and Principal Designer of Nest Interior Design Studio, a Loudoun County, Virginia-based firm creating timeless, functional, and distinctive interiors for residential and commercial clients. She founded the studio in 2013 with a belief that thoughtfully designed spaces can shape and elevate the way we live, work, and feel every day.
Her portfolio spans large-scale renovations, new construction, custom interiors, and hospitality projects. Across every project, Angelee brings a deeply personal and collaborative approach, balancing architecture, function, and aesthetics to create spaces that feel elevated yet livable and distinctly connected to the people who use them.
Angelee holds a BBA in Finance from James Madison University and a Certificate in Interior Design. Her background in financial analysis, corporate project management, sales, and raising a family has shaped the strategic thinking, organization, creativity, and practical perspective she brings to every project.
Under her leadership, Nest has evolved into a full-service design studio serving clients throughout the Washington, D.C. region and beyond. Angelee is committed to continual growth and innovation, attending national design markets and trade shows, engaging with professional organizations, and collaborating with trusted architects, builders, artisans, and vendors.
Her work is also grounded in a strong sense of community. As an ASID National Volunteer, Angelee is involved in philanthropic initiatives including the “Room to Heal” project for Loudoun Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault Services, reflecting her belief that thoughtful design can create dignity, comfort, and a renewed sense of possibility.
Travel is both a deep love and a constant source of inspiration, influencing her eye for color, material, architecture, and detail. Angelee lives in Loudoun County with her husband, two college-aged children, and Olive, their spirited mixed-breed pup. Whether sourcing a one-of-a-kind piece, leading a construction walk-through, or refining a cabinet layout with a client, she is driven by a simple idea: great design should not only be beautiful, but make life better.
